LODI — Tour registration is now open for Lodi Sandhill Crane Festival’s 25th event, returning to Lodi’s Hutchins Street Square on Nov. 3-5.

The celebration includes opportunities to experience sandhill cranes and other area wildlife.

Reservations are strongly recommended as tours fill quickly.  The public is reminded that sandhill cranes are expected to begin arriving in the area this month and will remain into February.

Other Sandhill Crane Festival features, including an art show, children’s activities, an exhibit hall, and informative speakers, take place at Lodi’s Hutchins Street Square.

All are free and open to the public.

The Festival Art Show is now accepting submissions, with an Oct. 9 deadline.  Featuring area artists, the show includes fine art and photography.  Information for artists is available on the Lodi Sandhill Crane Association site.
