Each year, those staying in the local care facility take part of the Giving Tree, a holiday program consisting of wish-list bulbs adoring the Christmas tree in the lobby of Precision Auto.
“We've been (partnering with Precision Auto) for nearly 20 years,” said Debbie Robles, who is the longtime Activities Director for the Manteca Care & Rehabilitation Center.
With the help of her assistants Becky Hopper and Elizabeth Munoz, she was able to coordinate all 102 residents into the Giving Tree program.
The public along with local businesses can stop by Precision Auto, 475 Moffat Blvd., during business hours and serve as a secret Santa in fulfilling one or all three wishes for the Care facility residents.
Precision Auto is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Owner Raj Lal took over the business about seven years ago and continued this Christmas tradition.
Robles noted that the Giving Tree gifts will be distributed to the facility residents during the annual Manteca Care & Rehabilitation Center Christmas Party on Thursday, Dec. 19.
