Manteca aerial fireworks over BLD on Monday

The grand finale to the Fourth of July weekend starts Monday at 9:30 p.m. when the City of Manteca launches its annual aerial fireworks display over the Big League Dreams sports complex.

Recommended viewing locations are:

 *Bella Vista Park, 1580 Bella Terra Drive.

*Dutra Estates Park, 2701 Ancestor Street

*Dutra Estates Mini Park, 1523 Hearthsong Drive

*Dutra Southeast Park, 1850 Sparrowhawk Street

*Kevin O’Neill Park, 1282 Laurel Circle

*Roberts Estates Park, 1740 Rail Street.

Fireworks may also be viewed from within the Big League Dreams sports park, 1077 Milo Candini Drive, which is next door to the launch site. Admission is $2 for those  12 and older. Gates open at 7 p.m.

People are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to the parks.

No parking will be permitted at the Great Wolf resort.

Aerial fireworks are set to be launched tonight (Saturday, July 2) at 9:30 a.m. at Woodward Reservoir at 14528 26 Mile Road northwest of Oakdale off of East Highway 120.

It is designed to top off people spending a day swimming, boating, frolicking or just plain relaxing at the reservoir.

The entrance price that day is $25 a vehicle.

Aerial fireworks will also take place on Sunday, July 3, at the Stockton 99 Speedway. The fireworks follow a full racing schedule that starts at 6 p.m.

Adults ages 16-59 and general admission grandstand tickets are $25. Seniors ages 60-over, junior ages 13-15, and Military with ID are $20. Kids ages 12 and under are free. All parking is free.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate on race night.
