Manteca’s frontline firefighters have endorsed Councilman Gary Singh for mayor in the Nov. 8 election.

“Gary has shown his dedication to Manteca through his volunteer work as well as his commitment and service on the council,” noted Brad Schemper who serves as president for Manteca Firefighters Local 1874. “Manteca Firefighters support Gary Singh for mayor to lead us into the future.”

That coupled with the Manteca Police Officers Association means the two unions that represent all of the city’s 110 plus front line public safety employees have backed Singh for mayor,.
