One local family will be crowded around their television next week when most people are going to be at work.

On Monday, Oct. 16, Manteca resident Felixberto Baluyot will get his moment of fame when he appears on the long-running CBS game show The Price is Right.

The episode is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. on local CBS affiliates.

While the company announced that Baluyot will appear on the show, they did not release any information about how he performed on the show – all episodes of The Price is Right are taped and aired at a later date.

The popular television show, currently hosted by Drew Carey, was in the news last month after longtime host Bob Barker – the man that Carey replaced – passed away at the age of 99.
