Farmers market returns to downtown Manteca
market

The coolest spot in Tuesday to enjoy a family outing might just be Market & Music at Library Park.

The popular Manteca Chamber of Commerce event returns for its 2018 run on Tuesdays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. through the end of July.

Besides six produce vendors and those selling food-related products such as olive oil and specialty items there are a host of other vendors

Ray Reynolds & The Country Time Band will perform on the gazebo.

Besides being one of the few farmers markets in the 209 that can boost of shade thanks to the stately sycamores in Library Park, a cool time can be had by kids as well by frolicking in the interactive water play feature. They are also two playground areas.

You can also skip cooking as food vendors are back including Fagundes, pizza, and food trucks.

New this year to the downtown market is a corn hole game, free face painting, and the offering of different craft beers each week. That is in addition to local wine. There will also be two rocks hidden in Library Park with those finding them receiving a certificate for $5 worth of produce.

Ray Reynold & The Country Time Band is based in Lodi. They play venues all over California and Nevada. Other upcoming dates for the band are the Six Shooter Saloon in Lodi on June 9, the Silver Legacy Reno Resort Casino on June 14, Feather River Casino in Oroville on July 6, and the Wrangler Bar in Elk Grove on July 14.
