Off the Charts opened a few weeks ago, marking the first storefront cannabis dispensary in Manteca.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the grand opening was held Friday for the business located at 2325 W. Yosemite Ave., in the Valley Light Industrial center east of Airport Way.
The noon time special event consisted of the Manteca Chamber of Commerce, and representatives from the City of Manteca and state officials.
The Chamber’s Executive Director Joann Beattie presented Off the Charts with a plaque as its newest member.
The local dispensary also received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from the office of Rep. Josh Harder and a State of California Certificate of Recognition from Sen. Jerry McNerney’s office.
Councilman Charlie Halford, in addition, was on hand to present a Certificate of Recognition from the City of Manteca.
Melina Robles was once again thrilled to see the local support for Off the Charts.
She’s the regional manager for the business based in Los Angeles. Off the Charts has 10 locations in California, said Robles, who has been involved with the operations for the past six years.
“The managers at this store are all local,” she said, referencing Lauren Nair, Abrahan Figeroa, and Caitlyn Taylor, who were there for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Off the Charts is a family-owned and operated dispensary which takes pride in creating a welcoming space while making customers feel right at home.
Locally, the business was four years in the making.
Off the Charts — along with the opening if two other dispensaries in the coming months — will mean at likely $2 million in revenue to the City of Manteca not to mention $350,000 plus for non-profits. If all three concerns have $10 million in annual services
Off The Charts is open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
