Ripon COVID shot clinic today; Manteca under way through Friday

The Ripon COVID-19 vaccination clinic is today (April 14) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at McManis Family Vineyard, 18700 E. River Road.

It was erroneously reported as Thursday.

BJRX Pharmacy will be on hand to administer the first shot of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

San Joaquin County is now vaccinating people working or residing in the county that are 18 years or older. 

The Manteca vaccination center at the Sikh Temple parking lot on Woodward Avenue east of Airport Way still had more than half of its 550 vaccination slots available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for today as of 11 p.m. Tuesday. The same was true for Thursday. There are only 34 of 550 spaces unfilled for Friday.

Limited walk-ins are welcome. That said it to avoid possible delays register at SJReady.org.

Manteca Unified has

only 10 COVID cases

As of April 9, Manteca Unified is reporting 10 COVID cases out of 27,000 students and staff. All but one of the COVID cases are students.
