Members of the One Church in Ripon will be selling fireworks as a fundraiser and to help celebrate the Fourth of July starting on Sunday.

The firework booths in Ripon will be opening soon for business.

Beginning on Sunday (June 28), safe and sane fireworks – Phantom or TNT – will be made available at the booth operated by Ripon VFW Post 1051 at the Save Mart Shopping Center at West Colony Road and Goodwin Drive, from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Updates will be provided by the Ripon Chamber of Commerce via social media.

American Legion Post #190 will be in its usual spot at 206 S. Stockton Ave., selling fireworks for fundraising purposes beginning on Wednesday, July 1, from 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Ditto that for Ripon High School Athletics. They’ll be working the booth at Tractor Supply parking lot on Jack Tone Road just off the Highway 99 freeway interchange, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. beginning on July 1.

The Ripon House of Praise Church will also begin selling fireworks on July 1 at the corner of W. Milgeo Avenue and North Acacia Avenue. Hours of operation were not available.

Ripon FFA chapter will again be located at its usual spot in the parking lot of Schemper’s Ace Hardware at North Wilma Avenue and West Main Street, beginning on Monday (June 29).

One Church at 1043 S. Acacia Ave., for the second straight year, will conduct fireworks business in the church parking lot. Dates and times will be posted by the Chamber.

“We encourage you to spread the love to all these amazing organizations, who give back so much to our youth and community,” the Chamber posted on social media.
