Ripon may build 200 space parking lot employing pavers

The Ripon City Council will look to accept the parking lot improvement plans for the Mistlin Indoor Sports Facility at tonight’s monthly session.

The minor site plan application call for the construction of about 200 paver parking lot – 3 acres of a 19.25-acre parcel – for the recently completed 27,000-square-foot sports facility at 811 W. River Rd.

“This project will be located directly adjacent to the newly constructed sports facility located at Mistlin Sports Park,” said Director of Planning Ken Zuidervaart in his council report.

This item is part of the 6 p.m. open session inside the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave.

The agenda also includes:

uCouncil members authorizing Mayor Leo Zuber to ink the contract with Don Pedro Company, Inc., calling for the installation of pump and motor at Well 12 in order to begin pumping water in accordance to the Regional Water Quality Control Board.

uThey’ll also look at accepting the completed work by T&S West on the Park View Elementary Safe Route of School Project.

uElected leaders possibly adopting the “Regulation of Sidewalk Venders” ordinance to the Ripon Municipal Code.

uCouncil members, in addition, will consider recommending the South San Joaquin Groundwater Sustainability Agency to adopt the Eastern San Joaquin Groundwater Basin’s Groundwater Sustainability Plan.
