masthead mb

Food trucks, for the most part, are prohibited in the City of Ripon.

The specifics of that can be found in the “Peddler and vendor stands — Unlawful parking” portion of the ordinance.

The Ripon City Council could pursue a possible change to this law at Tuesday’s meeting in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave.

The open session begins at 6 p.m.

The Chamber of Commerce recently conducted a survey of the downtown businesses regarding food trucks in the area.

Elected leaders will hear the results of that and discuss whether or not to move forward with the change.
