The entry fee for the cooks is $50 with the event to be held at the Ripon VFW Post 1051 at 12455 West Ripon Road at the corner of Olive Avenue.  Tickets for tasting are $5 and will provide for five samples of chili to their guests.

More than 25 cars will be on display outside the post. The car show is being coordinated by Brenda Lang and Jeremiah North from the Ripon Fire Department.

There will be two cook-off divisions: Professional/Restaurant Division and an Amateur Division.

The proceeds will be used for Trade School scholarships for high school seniors.
