Spaces are still available at the Mistlin Sports Complex parking lot for Saturday’s Community Yard Sale.

The City of Ripon event provides a great opportunity to do some spring cleaning around the house and even make a few dollars from those unwanted items.

According to City Clerk Lisa Roos, 95 spaces – about 20- by- 10- feet – have already been claimed as of Thursday for the Community Yard Sale scheduled from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This event is held every year and is part of the City’s recycling program, which promotes re-use, repair and recycle.

Those interested in take part must furnish their own table and may reserve up to three spaces – not allowed will be the sale of any food, beverages or multiples of new items.

No vendors are allowed to participate.

Cost is $5 per space for Ripon residents and $10 for non-residents.

Check-in for those participating is 5:30 a.m. of that day at the front entrance of the parking lot on River Road near Jack Tone Road.
