Ripon Unified enrollment tops 3,200

Enrollment continues to climb in Ripon Unified.

In the fifth month reporting period – from Nov. 11 through Dec. 23 – RUSD had a count of 3,206 students at Ripon High, Harvest High, and the five elementary school sites.

At the same time a year ago, district enrollment following the COVID-19 pandemic was 3,168, and 3,144 for the 2020-2021 school year.

RUSD’s high water mark for enrollment was 3,341 in the first half of the 2019-2020 school year.

The recent enrollment numbers at RHS was 972 while Harvest High was at 29 students.

Ripona Elementary School reported 472 students prior to the holiday break, Park View had 443, Weston was at 439, Colon Oak tallied 436, and Ripon Elementary’s numbers were 415.
