The Ripon Unified District Office

Most students in the Ripon Unified School District returned to the classrooms in January.

District officials remain uncertain if that will continue to be the case when school resumes in August.

“We’re not sure what will happen,” Superintendent Ziggy Robeson said at Monday’s school board meeting.

For that, she noted that RUSD will follow the San Joaquin County Public Health Department for guidance during COVID-19.

The first day of instructions is Aug. 11.

At Ripon High, students can look forward to the upcoming Pow Wow registration period to kick off the 2021-22 school year.

On Wednesday, Aug. 4, seniors and juniors can get ready for the new school year by picking up their books, class schedules, take ID photos, and turn in all the necessary paper work from 8 a.m. to noon at the RHS North Gym.

Sophomores and freshmen can do likewise on Thursday, Aug. 5, in the North Gym from 8 a.m. to noon.

The RHS office is closed for the summer and is scheduled for reopening on Aug. 6. Students in need of a work permit can visit the district office until then.

New student registration can be handled online at www.riponhigh.net.
