Ripon Unified’s annual school board workshop will take place Friday morning at the Teachers College of San Joaquin, 2721 Transworld Dr., Stockton.

Trustees will meet in the Lafayette classroom beginning at 9:15.

The workshop will consist of safety training for elected and appointed officials, administrators, and others.

This Multi-Year Training and Exercise Plan was developed by the Collaborative Training Group consisting of RUSD, Ripon Police Department, Ripon Consolidated Fire District, Ripon Christian Schools, and the City of Ripon.

The purpose of the course is to provide a forum for senior official in a discussion regarding the National Incident Management System and the importance of the senior official’s role in preparedness.

Trustees, in addition, will discuss the tentative board meeting dates for 2023-2024, review facilities needs / priority lists, district goals for the upcoming school year, and current legislative impacts.
