‘Splash Bash’ for local teens set for Wednesday at Lathrop Generation Center

 The forecast for this week calls for more hot weather.

The City of Lathrop is offering up a cooling off place for local teens in seventh through 12th grades with a “Splash Bash” Wednesday beginning at 5 p.m. – concludes at 8 o’clock – at the Lathrop Generation Center, 450 Spartan Way.

Included will be inflatable water features (water slide), water balloon activities, water volleyball, music, and refreshments (nachos & snow cones).

Cost is $10 per teen with preregistration required – click on to www.ci.lathrop.ca.us/parksrec.

Those attending the “beachy oasis extravaganza,” as coined by the City of Lathrop, are asked to bring a towel, sunscreen, and a dry change of clothes.
