StocktonCon Winter is back of its sixth year.
The two-day event featuring a large array of artists, exhibitors, and special guests will be held on the weekend of Feb. 15-16 at the Adventist Health Arena, formerly the Stockton Arena, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., both days.
Among the special guests are actors Raymond Cruz and Cesar Garcia, who both appeared on the drama series Breaking Bad and its prequel spin-off Better Call Saul.
Cruz, who has a long list of acting credits to his name, was well-known in the role of Tuco Salamanca in the two series.
Garcia is also a writer and producer, appearing in the Fast & Furious alongside the late Paul Walker, and various other series such as NCIS: Los Angeles, True Detective, Weeds, and the Shield. He has over 60 credits to his name.
A pair of former Power Rangers are also set to appear at StocktonCon Winter – Nakia Burrise (Power Ranger Zeo) and Karan Ashley (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers).
Other special guests include wrestlers Joe Hendry (WWE NXT, TNA World Champion) on Saturday, and Booker T (WWE Hall of Fame, WCW) on Sunday.
Manteca High alum Ramon Villalobos (Secret Wars, Nighthawk) will once again be among the guest creators, alongside Derek Riggs (Iron Maiden), Chris Marrinan (Nova, Wonder Woman), Brad Simpson (Local Man, Feral), Jessica Fong (Poison Ivy, Scarlet Witch), Scott Koblish (Deadpool, Captain America), Melissa Pagluica (Above the Clouds), James C. Mulligan (Disney, Lorcana), Brandon McKinney (Harley Quinn, Invincible), Tone Rodriguez (Simpsons, Stray Dogs, Feral), Tony Fleecs (Local Man, Stray Dogs, Feral), Jesse Hernandez (Urban Aztec), Justin Greenwood (Stumptown, The Butcher’s Boy), just to name a few.
The Costume Contest will take place at 4 p.m. in the Panel Room near the main entrance – open to those age 13 and older on Saturday, and age 14 and older on Sunday.
