Great America offers weekday ACE ticket deal
ACE

Those riding the Altamont Corridor Express service this summer on weekdays to  reach Great America are eligible for discounted admission to the theme park.

It is part of an ongoing effort by ACE to reduce congestion on the Altamont Pass and Bay Area freeways.

A round-trip ticket from the Lathrop-Manteca station to the Great America station is $5.75. The last eastbound train from Great America departs at 6:52 p.m.

In early June weekdays through June 14 the park is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and then switches to weekday hours of 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the rest of the  summer. That means the ACE O7 train that departs Lathrop-Manteca at 7:24 a.m. would drop you off at the Great America station at 8:58 a.m.

When ACE passengers purchase their ACE ticket, they are automatically qualified to receive the discounted park admission rate of $39. Park guests simply show their ACE ticket at the admission gate to receive the discount for up to 10 tickets.

The discounts are valid for weekdays only May 29 through Aug. 10. The blackout dates are July 4 due to ACE service not running and on June 22, June 27, and Aug. 8 due to planned single day park closures. .
