Bethany Home’s major expansion project will go before the Ripon Planning Commission on Monday.

The Terraces at Bethany is a proposed three-story, 82-unit residential care facility on a 2.73-acre property at Main Street and Vera Avenue in Ripon.

Commissioners will consider approving a conditional use permit on the project that calls for construction of a 106,894 square foot facility on two adjacent parcels at the 6 p.m. session in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave.

Included will be indoor and outdoor amenities along with an off-street parking facility in the neighborhood commercial district.

In other agenda items:

·        Commissioners will hear a request from the developer of the proposed wine and spirits retail center on Jack Tone Road in the Ripon Crossing shopping center. Plans call for construction of a 7.498 square foot upscale business with off-street parking on the .66-acre parcel in the mixed-use district.

·        They’ll look at staff’s recommendation to the City Council to approve the amendment on the Home Occupation Permit Ordinance, based on the findings in the staff report.
