Brookdale Manteca is opening its doors Tuesday to the business community to mix, mingle and network.

The Uncork & Unwind event is scheduled from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the retirement and assisted living facility located at 430 N. Union Rd.

“This is a come-as-you-are casual event,” said Sales Manager Kim De Sousa of the free afterwork function at Brookdale.

She’s invited folks from 40 to 50 businesses in the area to enjoy the relaxed setting with a variety of wines from Woodbridge being offered along with cheese appetizers.

At the same time, they can learn more about what Brookdale Manteca has to offer.

This senior living community offers independent living along with personalized assisted living and Alzheimer’s and dementia care.

The facility is that of a home-like community ranging from studios, one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments, which also features a 24-emergency response system, private baths and kitchenettes, in some of the places.

Brookdale Manteca, in addition, will soon go through a transition at the beginning of next year, having recently been sold to another company.

Remodeling along with a open house and a grand opening event is planned for either January or February, De Sousa said.
