FREMONT  (AP) — Authorities say a man drowned after jumping from a train trestle into a Northern California creek.

The Oakland Tribune reports the man was identified as 26-year-old Alan Chung. Divers recovered his body from Alameda Creek on Saturday.

Police say Chung and several friends were jumping off the trestle for fun. Chung never resurfaced.

Authorities do not suspect foul play.
