The annual Antone Raymus Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 8, will once again include the car show.

The third annual Car Show sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Manteca Children’s Foundation will take place at the entrance of the Manteca Park Golf Course, 305 N. Union St., from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit the Manteca Children’s Foundation, which has provided assistance to youngsters of all backgrounds since 2005. This includes educating parents on the rapid rise of obesity and diabetes in children.

The foundation also awards several $300 scholarships to area graduating seniors.

Those interested in taking part in the Car Show can register in advance or on the day of the event. Early registration is $20 and $25 on that day.

Judges will be Manteca Chief of Police Nick Obligacion and Manteca Fire Chief Kirk Waters. The South Union Road Fire Station will display its antique fire truck while police will showcase some of their motorcycles.
