Christopher Blane Miller, 43, was sentenced to eight years in state prison on sexual abuse to two children under 14.  He was  charged with lewd and lascivious conduct,  Manteca Police said.
Miller appeared Wednesday in San Joaquin County Superior Court.
Deputy District Attorney Claire Van Vuren worked out the previously agreed upon sentence for Miller, a retired correctional officer of the State of California prison system.
Manteca detective Stephen Beerman said the family computer was confiscated after finding evidence of child pornography.  Miller’s dad, Clyde Miller, 68, has already pled guilty to a lesser charge of lewd acts upon a child under 14 and is expected to be sentenced to less than a year in jail.  As of May 2, he was no longer in custody and was awaiting sentencing, police said.
