The annual Christmas luncheon hosted by Sister Ann Venita Britto and her Ministry of Caring is planned for Thursday at the St. Anthony Parish gymnasium.

A free hot meal to seniors regardless of their religious affiliation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The gym is located at the corner of Fremont and Sutter streets in Manteca.

Along with the meal featuring all of the trimmings, those attending will be eligible for door prizes along with entertainment, fellowship and a chance to come away with a centerpiece.

Sister Ann and her group recently completed the Christmas-decorated pieces for each table.

Those expected to attend are St. Jude Care Center, Valley CAPS, Almond Blossom, The Commons, and Merrill Gardens, to name a few.

Live music will be provided by the JRP Band.
