MODESTO – Modesto Junior College will host a Veteran Information and Resources Fair on Thursday, October 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the East Campus Quad, located at 435 College Avenue in Modesto. 

The event is for all veterans on campus and in the community, and their dependents. The event is free and on campus parking is available for $2 in student parking lots.  

 The Veteran Information and Resources Fair will offer information about campus resources available, as well as community resources and organizations that support veterans.  

 At noon there will be a ceremony that includes presentation of the colors, remarks by several speakers from the community and taps will be played. The Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom Wall will be on display all day.  Food will be available for purchase.
