MODESTO– Modesto PRIDE Festival is returning for its 6th Annual PRIDE Event on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Graceada Park.

Sister Mora Lee D’Klined and The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are emceeing outrageous entertainment including: On the main stage; Rendezvous W/Coolbeans, Pinkie & the Resistance, Freddy Prince Charming, Gunner Daimon Gatlyn, Ethel Merman. In the Beer & Wine Garden; Rachel Renae, Body & Soul, as well as a DJ spinning tunes. There will also be vendor booths.

The New Teen Zone and the younger Kids Zone will have events and activities set up throughout the day.

The event is designed as an opportunity to celebrate and affirm Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered individuals, and their supporters through scholarships, education, and awareness in the Stanislaus County area, to sponsor cultural, artistic, and educational events that promote unity, inclusion, and awareness.

The event is being staged by the Stanislaus Community Assistance Project.
