The  San Joaquin County District Four Board of Supervisors’ race will see Russ Munson and Chuck Winn enter a November runoff for representation of the east side of the county from Lodi and Woodbridge to Ripon. 

Munson received 6,145 votes or 44.90 percent from 106 precincts reporting from Tuesday’s election compared to Winn’s 5,306 votes reflecting 38.77 percent of the total votes cast.  Manuel Lopez received 2,212 with 16.16 percentage points.  

Munson is a former U.S. Navy aviator and is now an owner of the Wine and Roses venue in Lodi.  Winn is a retired California Highway Patrol captain who served as commander in the Stanislaus County office.
