A 20-year-old Lathrop man wanted for a murder that occurred in an almond orchard east of Manteca some four months ago was arrested Saturday morning following a police pursuit for speeding in Jefferson County, TN, according to the Associated Press.
Taylor Michael Henthorne had been the focus of Manteca officers and Sheriff’s deputies who had been looking for him over the past months.
Henthorne was taken into custody after he attempted to flee on foot from officers after crashing into a ditch on Highway 113. A registered gang member, he had the word “norte” tattooed over his left eye.
When Tennessee police ran a records check they reportedly found he was wanted for murder in San Joaquin County. The San Joaquin County fugitive was also charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest, evading arrest, and reckless driving.
He is being held without bond pending extradition to California.
