Museum open house Sunday

More than a dozen decorated Christmas trees fill the Manteca Historical Society Museum, all sporting a different theme for the annual open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4.

The museum will offer tours, finger foods, wine, coffee and warm cider, and the gift shop will be open for those wishing to make purchases.

Live holiday music will add to the holiday theme, as well as docents appropriately dressed in period costumes. The Memorial Building, which is filled with antique tools and farm equipment, will also feature Christmas decorations while docents will be on hand to talk about the exhibits.

Visitors are invited and admission is free. For more information call the museum at 825-3021.

The museum is located at 600 W. Yosemite Ave.
