The Manteca Tea Party Patriots are hosting a business panel discussion Thursday on business and environmental regulations that critics contend are choking businesses and which keeps companies from creating jobs.

The panel discussion takes place Thursday, Aug. 9, at 7:30 p.m. following a 7 p.m. social hour.

Panel member are Jeff Shields of the South San Joaquin irrigation District speaking on water and power issues, Betty Plowman of the California Trucking Association speaking on transportation and California Air Resources Board issues, John McDonald of Silego speaking on high technology issues, and San Joaquin County supervisor and dairy farmer Leroy Ornellas speaking on agriculture issues.

Dennis Wyatt will moderate the panel discussion for the first 20 minutes and then open up the discussion to the general public for a Q&A session.

Everyone is invited to attend.  The Manteca Tea Party Patriots is a nonpartisan organization.
