EU Chorus to sing at Federated lunch meeting
The East Union High School Chorus will be the featured entertainers when the Manteca Federated Women’s Club members have their luncheon meeting at Chez Shari on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

This will be the choir’s first concert of the season. They will also participate in the annual Hospice Tree Lighting and will do caroling for a donation.

Chez Shari restaurant is located on the second floor of the Manteca Golf Course Clubhouse on Union Road.

Booth space for MRPS’s annual holiday boutique
The annual Holiday Boutique is planned for Dec. 4 through 6 at the Manteca-Ripon Pentecost Society Hall, 133 N. Grant St.

But right now’s the time for vendors to secure a prime location.

Cost for booth space for all three days – single-day vendors will not be allowed – is $120 and includes overnight security.
However, sponsors of the faire will not be responsible for lost or stolen property.

The event will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 (that’s the same day as Christmas parade); and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6.

Weapons, drug paraphernalia, stink bombs and throw caps are prohibited for sale at the Holiday Boutique.

Gay chorus concert Dec. 5
Stanislaus Community Assistance Project presents the ninth annual, “Home for the Holidays’ Concert with the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus. To be held at the Modesto Junior College’s newly refurbished Auditorium on Saturday, Dec. 5. In the words of SFGMC Artistic Director, Dr. Kathleen McGuire, “It’s going to be holiday all the way.”

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with time for you to preview and bid on Silent Auction items, followed by the Concert at 6:30 p.m. featuring the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus singing all of the Yuletide favorites that you have come to expect at a SCAP Home for the Holidays Concert. Tickets are $25 for general admission, $10 for children 12 and under, and $50 for Sponsorships. Proceeds to benefit Stanislaus Community Assistance Project and the people they help.

New Haven Community Club rib dinner Saturday
New Haven School Community Club is having their annual Rib Dinner & Dance on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the MRPS Hall, 133 N. Grant St. in Manteca.
Dinner consists of all-you-can-eat ribs by Fagundes, baked potato, salad, bread and wine. There will also be a raffle plus silent and live auctions. No host cocktails are from 6 to 7 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m.; and dancing from 9 p.m. to midnight.  Tickets are $30 per person (21 and older only) and are available at the school office at 14600 S.
