Almond Blossom breakfast Sunday
RIPON — The Almond Blossom buffet breakfast takes place Sunday at the Ripon Veterans of Foreign Wars, 12455 E. West Ripon Road.

The $8 cost includes pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, juice, and fruit. Children under 8 are free.

Table setting lunch at St. Anthony’s
St. Anthony of Padua School PTG will host its third annual Table Setting luncheon on Saturday, March 6.

The event will be held in the school gym beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The Table Setting will kick off for those attending with a sparkling cider or wine followed by the casual delight of viewing tables decorated in various themes: “American Doll,” “Kentucky Derby,” or “Go Army.”

At noon, an elegant lunch will be served to those seated at the beautiful themed table by their very own hostess.

 In addition, there will be a drawing along with an auction for some wonderful prizes.

Tickets can be purchased individually ($25 each) or as an entire table for those interested.

Manteca CAPS dinner theatre set for March 27
“Sleepless in California” is the name of this year’s production for the mystery dinner theatre benefit for the Manteca CAPS organization that services mentally challenged adults.

The dinner is set for Saturday, March 27, at the Manteca Senior Center, 295 Cherry Lane.

Tickets are $30 apiece. No-host cocktails start at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. that includes a live performance.

There are also door prizes and a raffle.

It is a slumber party theme this year. Guests are encouraged to dress appropriately.
