Manteca Mayor’s Committee on the Arts 4th Annual Chili Cook Off is set for Sunday, Feb. 23, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at the Manteca Senior Center, 295 Cherry Lane.

The all you can eat event will also feature raffle prizes and items made by the Chain Gang.

Presale tickets are $8 and are available by calling Marlene Figone at 823-2494 or purchase your ticket at the

door for $10.  All proceeds benefit the arts in the community and help fund annual art scholarships for high school students.

Manteca Mayor’s Committee on the Arts consists of 18 clubs working for art awareness. The clubs are Chain Gang- Jewelry & Art, Manteca Kindred Art, Manteca Mural Society, Manteca Youth Focus, Manteca Artists Guild, Manteca Garden Club, Manteca Federated Women’s Club, Manteca Jr. Women’s Club, Delicato Special Events, Manteca Convention & Visitor Bureau, Manteca Camera Club, Boys & Girls Club, Manteca Quilters, CA Heart of Decorative Artists, Manteca Historical Society, Symphony Comes to Manteca, Society for Creative Anachronisms, and Manteca Soroptimist Club.
