Now in its 18th year, Concours d’Elegance was created by Gail and John Kautz.  Both farmers and vintners, they envisioned an event that would benefit young people involved in agriculture, notably 4-H Clubs, Future Farmers of America and the California State Fair Scholarship Fund.  From that initial idea, The Ironstone Concours d’Elegance Foundation has raised more than $700,000 since inception.  In 2013, through the proceeds of Concours d’Elegance, a $130,000 pledge was completed to assist in the development of the Future Farmers of America State Headquarters Building in Galt, California.
