MRPS seeks vendors for holiday show

The holidays are right around the corner.

And with it is the Manteca-Ripon Pentecost Society’s annual Holiday Boutique scheduled once again for that first weekend in December.

For vendors, now would be the ideal time to file an application in order to secure a prime spot at the event at the MRPS Hall, 133 N. Grant St., Manteca.

“The spaces usually fill up fast,” said organizer Teresa Rieb.

Cost for a booth space is $125 for the three-day event planned for Dec. 6 (4 to 8 p.m.), Dec. 7 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Dec. 8 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). No single-day vendors are allowed and, as always, vendors selling weapons of any kind, drug paraphernalia, stink bombs, or throw caps are prohibited.

Rieb is expecting anywhere between 25 to 30 vendors.

She added that overnight security will be provided; however, the sponsors will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen property.

The Holiday Boutique on Saturday, Dec. 7, is popular spot before and after the Holiday Parade – sponsored by the Manteca Chamber of Commerce – on Yosemite Avenue and downtown.
