STOCKTON —  The Stockton Ports Anchor Fund will host a free FanFest on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

During the FanFest, the Anchor Fund will be holding its annual Pancakes with the Ports breakfast. Tickets for the general public will be available for $5  starting at 9:30 a.m. on April 12 when gates open. Season Ticket Holders may purchase a breakfast for a discounted price of $3.

The Stockton Ports Anchor Fund has helped support many community projects since it was established in 2007, with a primary focus on youth centers and youth sports. The charitable fund reflects the Ports’ commitment to strengthening the community using baseball and entertainment as a backdrop, with 400 non-profit organizations receiving donations in 2013.

Festivities will include Pancakes with the Ports, on-field batting practice for Season Ticket Holders, player autograph and photo booths, a mystery ball grab, and the opportunity to hit in the batting cages with Ports players. All Season Ticket Holders must RSVP with the Ports front office at 209.644.1900 to reserve a space for batting practice on the field.

“We are excited to provide our fans the opportunity to interact with the 2014 Stockton Ports players and coaching staff along with various activities around the ballpark, all while benefiting the Anchor Fund,” said Ports Assistant General Manager Bryan Meadows.

Opening day is April 10 vs. the Visalia Rawhide. Season tickets, group tickets, and mini-plans are currently on sale. For more information about the 2014 season, call the Ports front office at 209.644.1900.
