St. Marys Theatre presents Twelfth Night

STOCKTON — William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night will be presented by the St. Mary’s High School Theatre Department Oct. 5-13 at Stockton Civic Theatre.

Widely regarded as Shakespeare’s most perfect comedy, Twelfth Night follows the twisting paths that lead to love after a shipwreck separates twins Viola and Sebastian in a coastal country called Illyria. The plot features everything from slapstick comedy to unrequited love to mistaken identities to fencing duels.

Performances are on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday Oct. 6, at 2p.m.; Friday, Oct. 11, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 13, at 2p.m.

Stockton Civic Theatre is located at 2312 Rosemarie Lane in Stockton. Patrons are advised to purchase tickets ahead of time online at brownpapertickets.com, or at the St. Mary’s High School main office, 5648 N. El Dorado Street in Stockton.
