PG&E is writing the city a check for $5,000 to demonstrate its “support of enhancing the lives of families” in Manteca.
The Manteca Parks and Recreation’s youth scholarship fund will receive $1,000 to help pay the registration fees for low-income youth so they can participate in various recreation programs.
Another $1,000 will go to help sponsor the Fourth of July celebration taking place July 3.
The remaining $3,000 will go to the senior services account to help underwrite monthly Manteca Senior Center breakfasts.
