It’s a safe bet playing at the upcoming Manteca-Lathrop Boys & Girls Club Texas Hold ‘Em & Bingo Night will benefit kids.
The Saturday, Aug. 28, event is taking place at the Manteca Senior Center, 295 Cherry Lane. No-host cocktails and snacks are from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by Texas Hold ‘Em and bingo from 7 to 11 p.m.
There is a $500 gift card and tournament grand prize for the poker play. There are also prizes for all final table players.
There is a $50 poker buy-in that provides players with $2,000 in chips. There are also optional re-buys and add ons available.
Bingo is $25 for a four-pack and $10 for each additional pack. Bingo has all cash prizes.
