Police chief chats with community on Saturday at the Waffle House

Breakfast with Manteca’s chief of police is on tap for the second month in a row Saturday morning at the Waffle Shop on North Main Street.

Chief David Bricker is scheduled to be open for questions and friendly conversation from 8:30 until 10:30 a.m. in a follow up to last month’s “chat with the chief” held at Johnny’s Restaurant on East Yosemite Avenue.

Bricker is hoping that citizens will be candid with him about their problems and concerns within the community.  He said he expects people to come forward with questions that coming into the police department might inhibit.

At Johnny’s he was kept so busy talking with Manteca residents there was little time for him to sit down and eat any breakfast.
