Police chief talks Thursday before Patriots

The Manteca Patriots will be holding their first meeting of 2015 on Thursday, Jan. 15, at 7:30 p.m. at Angelano’s Restaurant.

The meeting’s featured speaker will be Manteca Police Chief Nick Obligacion. 

Obligacion will speak on public safety issues and comment on the ongoing reduction in crime in Manteca. This will be an insightful meeting where attendees will brought up to date on current police efforts to combat crime and address the issue of homelessness in the community.

This will also be the first meeting in the group’s new location. Meetings will now be held at Angelano’s Restaurant, located at 1020 N. Main Street, in Manteca. 

Those who attend the meeting are free to order dinner from the restaurant menu, but will be responsible for their own payment. The doors will open at 7 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. 

Manteca Patriots will also be presenting local opportunities for folks to get involved in the community. They will again be holding a 50/50 Raffle.
