Rabelo seeks seat on Manteca council in Nov. 6 election

Patrick Rabelo is jumping into the race for two Manteca City Council seats in the Nov. 6 election.

Rableo joins court worker Sheila Raya, retired senior planner Ben Cantu and incumbent Debby Moorhead in circulating nomination petitions requiring 20 signatures to qualify for the ballot. Incumbent Steve DeBrum has already turned in his completed petition.

Rabelo has been in real estate sales since 2004. Prior to that, he worked in the telecommunications field for such firms as AT&T, PacBell, SBC, Cisco Communications, and Zhone Technology.

He’s has leadership roles in the Central Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Manteca Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Rabelo serves on the governing board of Doctors Hospital of Manteca and has been involved in numerous community groups including Manteca Youth Focus.

He is a graduate of St. Mary’s College with a degree in business administration and economics.

Rableo has been a resident of Manteca since 1996. He is currently associated with Keller-Williams real Estate.

Potential candidates have until Aug. 10 to complete nomination petitions.
