Prestige Senior Living at Manteca working with East Union High Junior ROTC to conduct a ceremonial disposal of the retired flags collected during their June 2012 Flag Exchange.

The disposal ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 3 p.m.  

Prestige Assisted Living at Manteca collected over 100 flags during National Flag Week.

The community was invited to exchange worn-out U.S. flags for new flags, free of charge, and to relate the history of their beloved flags.

Those flags and the stories they tell are on display at Prestige Senior Living through July 31. Prestige Senior Living at Manteca  is located at 130 Empire Ave.
