The Community Yard Sale is one of the big spring events for the City of Ripon.
Spaces are still available for those interested in offering up their unwanted items on Saturday, May 6, at the Mistlin Sports Park, 1201 River Road.

At last count, 75 spaces were booked. Cost is $5 per space (maximum of three items) and $10 per space for non-residents.
Rain or shine, the Community Yard Sale will be held form 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the southwest parking lot of the park.
Those already signed up can check in for set up as early as 5:45 a.m. on the day of the event. All vehicles – trucks, trailers, etc. – should be out of the selling area by 7 o’clock.
When unloading, all aisles must also remain clear for other vehicles.
No items are to be placed in the planters.

No selling of any large quantity of new items and/or craft items.
As for refreshments, the local Boys Scouts will have their food booth, making available breakfast and lunch items at reasonable prices.
In addition, a donation truck will be one site at the end of the event, taking away and donating any unwanted items. A list of unwanted items will be available during the yard sale.
