Ripon FFA makes strong fair showing

Ripon FFA shined at the California State Fair during the month of July.

In the Junior Swine Division Kayleigh Luis exhibited the Supreme Champion Boar, Corrine Roberts exhibited the Champion Junior AOB Gilt giving Ripon 1st place for Breeding Chapter Group.  Other placing in the swine division included 3rd place crossbred boar and 3rd place crossbred gilt that were exhibited by Kayleigh Luis; 2nd place crossbred gilt exhibited by Jessica Coit; 3rd place AOB gilt, 1st place crossbred boar junior division and 5th place crossbred gilt, all exhibited by Ceirra Roberts.

 In the Junior Beef Division, Stefani Hofman exhibited the Supreme Champion Prospect Steer. Ripon also had a strong showing in the Ag Mechanics division with all exhibits placing 1st. Exhibits included a nurse tank trailer built by Neil Norman, a stainless steel BBQ trailer built by Mike Fields, 20-drag scraper built by Sam Van Vuren, and an off an road trailer built by Lance Loogman.
