Dutch specialties part of festival bake sale Saturday at Immanuel Christian Reformed

• INFO: For information or applications for the Almond Blossom Fun Run or to be a vendor go to the Ripon Chamber of Commerce site at www.riponchamber.org. You can also drop by the chamber office at 929 W. Main St., Ripon, or call 599-7519 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Immanuel Christian Reformed Church will host their annual bake sale from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, as part of the Almond Blossom Festival.

 Many baked goods, including Dutch specialty items, will be for sale in the Ministry Center on the corner of 4th Street and Palm Avenue in Ripon.

Dutch specialties such as stroopwaffels, banket, speculaas, almond butter cake/boterkoek and more will be available. Also available will be many different cookies, brownies, cream puffs, breads and cakes.  Proceeds from the bake sale will go to the Immanuel CRC Short-term Missions Fund and to World Renew.

The Immanuel Kitchen will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with hot dogs and Sloppy Joe sandwiches available for sale, along with the other lunch items you may need: soda or water and chips. Proceeds from the lunch go the Immanuel Cadet club for their camp outings, including an International Cadet Camporee in Alberta, Canada this summer.
