A kick-in rural Ripon home burglary early Monday afternoon netted thieves four flat screen televisions at a residence in the 19000 block of North Ripon Road, Sheriff’s deputies reported Tuesday.

No one in the neighborhood reported seeing any activity at the home where the incident was believed to have taken place between 1:30 and 2:15 p.m. Thieves kicked in the front door of the home causing some $400 in damage to the door and the door frame.

Deputies reported a 50-inch flat screen Sony LED 1080 valued at $1,200 was taken from a living room cabinet.  Some 20 miscellaneous DVD discs were also taken from a drawer in that cabinet with a value of $20 each.  A Wii game set with three games and two controllers valued at $360 were also missing.

A 36-inch Samsung flat screen television valued at $700 was taken from the master bedroom on the north side of the residence.  Another television, a 42-inch Samsung flat screen, valued at $1,000 had also been taken from a daughter’s room in the southeast area of the home.

Deputies said the suspects went through each room of the house and ransacked them one by one with numerous other items being taken.
