Undercover police officers and detectives were offered more than what was on the menu Tuesday at a pair of Ripon massage parlors that were busted as part of a prostitution sting.
ABC Massage, located at 1222 W. Colony Road, and Lily Spa, located at 467 N. Wilma Avenue, were visited by detectives from the Ripon Police Department Special Investigations Unit and officers of another agency as part of an ongoing investigation into reports of illegal activities occurring at local massage businesses.
Cheo Tee Ong, 55, of Ripon, was arrested at ABC Massage on suspicion of solicitation of prostitution while 44-year-old Tingye Yang, of Modesto, was arrested at Lily Spa on the same charge. Both women were booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on a single misdemeanor charge.
According to a report from the Ripon Police Department, the undercover officers were propositioned for sex by the two women at the different locations.
The name of the allied agency assisting with the investigation is being withheld to protect the identities of the undercover officers who were involved with the sting operation.
