The Ripon Unified school board will meet Monday morning in the district office conference room, 304 N. Acacia Ave.
Trustees will look at the recent retirements, resignations and new hires, and the revised job description on the Director of Students Services position at the 9 o’clock special session.
Under the job description, the Director of Student Services will continue to report directly to the Superintendent along with “supervise, coordinate, and ensure quality special education programs and services and psychological services.”
According to the changes, this position would no longer be required to have “staff relationships to the school principals and to the supervisors of the classified service.”
The Director of Students Services will still be a member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet.
The board will consider giving the OK on new hires Danielle Ortiz (psychologist), Tiffany Gonzales (Park View), Ashley Martins (Park View), Jackson Meier (student worker), Jared Von Groningen (JV boys basketball), Jaclyn Gaines (substitute teacher) and Alissa Vickers (substitute teacher).
Trustees, in addition, will go over the facility staffing agreement between RUSD and Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. on the nurse staffing.
